Google Android Application Development Tech Talk

Topic of Event: Google Android Application Development Tech Talk Abstract: SD GTUG was able to arrange for two speakers from Google to come give a tech talk about Android Application Development.  Fred Chung is a Developer Advocate supporting Android application development and mobile ads.  He previously worked in software engineering roles at Accenture, SeeBeyond Technology and Oracle.  The second speaker, Adam Koch, is also a Google Developer Advocate supporting Android application development.  He previously held software engineering roles at Deloitte before joining Google. Event Agenda: 6:00 - 6:30 Registration 6:30 - 7:30 / 8:00 Tech talk by Google Developer Advocates Following the presentations, there will be time for some QA and networking Intuit has also graciously volunteered to provide pizza and soda / water before the start of the talks.  It's first-come-first-served and should be delivered around 6:00PM The address of the venue is: 7535 Torrey Santa Fe Drive

    Overall it was good but would be better if there were some code samples shared. Hands on sessions would also be great. Some session on porting Android to new platforms would be awesome.
