This one-day workshop will teach you the basics of raising chickens for both eggs and meat, with information on how to select breeds, build a coop/run and hands-on instructions on how to butcher, de-feather and clean a chicken in preparation for eating. This workshop includes a butchered chicken to take home!
This one-day garden workshop (11am-3pm) at Camp Stevens costs $75 and includes a butchered chicken to take home, as well as homemade lunch in our Dining Hall.
