Photography Composition Techniques
This is a practical and hands on composition class that will teach you how to improve your portrait, landscape, and outdoor photographs by simply knowing how to compose your subject in a way that makes your images more interesting to the viewer. The techniques that we introduce will show you how to add beauty, interest, emotion, and a story to your photos. We will cover basic composition techniques such as the rule of thirds, leading lines, depth, and perspective, as well as advanced techniques that show you how to frame your subject, position your subject, position your camera, and use elements in your surroundings to bring your images to life and capture your subjects true essence.
We will explore La Jolla Cove and the surrounding areas. This will be a hands on class that involves a little walking, so dress comfortable.
All camera's are welcome; however, we recommend bringing a wide angle lens for landscape shots and a telephoto lens for portraits.
This class does not cover lighting or exposure.
