What types of music do you play? What would you like to get from this group?

Donna plays with a range of feeling, flowing from sweet soft acoustic to pop, jazzy/pop and blues. I am also producing the San Diego Indie Acoustic Original Artist Showcase at Queen Bee's and am searching for musicians who literally fit the bill.

Which Musical instruments do you play? Are you a singer?

I sing, and play acoustic guitar, ukulele, percussion and timbales.

Would you like to collaborate? If so, how?

I enjoy collaboration with accomplished musicians.

How do you think you could most help other songwriters in the MeetUp group?

I can help with vocalization techniques, lyrics and melody.

Please provide link to samples of your music (Soundcloud, Reverbnation, etc...).

I am in the process of recording a Children's CD for my Picture Songbook CD, "In My Own Backyard", so these are unmastered recordings.

Introduction

Making my music more insightful, and spiritually centered is what I aim to do. I call my solo acoustic music "PopCoustic". It's so inspiring to hear what other SD songwriters are doing! I love collaborating and look forward to doing more!

What Donna L. is saying about this Meetup Group

It was a great first experience with the group! I enjoyed listening to all the songs in various stages of completion, and always learn when listening to what others are working on. It was fun being able to collaborate on a song with other musicians. Thanks for everything Cliff!
