Going Out Green: Eco-Friendly Funerals & Burials
Join nationally known author, funeral reform advocate and speaker Lee Webster for an evening of stripping away the veil to learn how you can plan a funeral that is natural, affordable, and meaningful. She’ll reveal the truth about how we came by our current funeral expectations, and how we can bring back care for our own dead to ensure that our end of life choices truly reflect our values.
We'll explore the growing wave of interest in human composting, alkaline hydrolysis, and natural burial to see what makes the most environmental and financial sense. We'll delve into legal rights and responsibilities, the problems with cremation, and the reasons why saving land through burial strategies in the face of accelerated migration patterns due to pandemic and climate change is so important.
If you’re looking for home funeral and green burial how-tos and why-fors, join us!
