What are your favorite tea places in the Seattle area?

Kuan Yin Teahouse in Wallingford and Mad Hat Tea in Tacoma.

What are the best times for you to attend a Tea Meetup?

Weekends, occasional Mondays am/pm, sometimes a Wednesday evening.

What is your favorite tea?

Hojicha, orange rooibos (Mad Hat Tea custom blend), lavender/chamomile blend, rose teas, and I enjoy exploring white teas too.

How long have you been a tea drinker?

It came upon me gradually years ago. I've become a more avid tea drinker the last dozen years or so, and am developing a more curious, playful interest in the last 6 years.

What kind of tea outings are you interested in: Asian Teahouse, English High Tea, Tastings and Education, Combined Tea Outing with other Activity (restaurant, walk, concert, movie), Something Else?

All kinds! Even a tea cruise abroad!

I'm a longtime convert to tea. A day without a cup of (preferably green or herbal) tea is just a so-so day. I still have an occasional decaf latte and, on even rarer occasion, a mocha or split shot. Yet, cha & rooibos win hands down.
