Free/Fun (for us!) Dog Sitting!

Hi!

My husband, Vinay and I have a dog- Sandi. She's part shepard, part border collie and about 3 years old. She's a ton of energy and loves chasing her ball, swimming, hiking and backpacking (yeah, she totes her own pack!)

We love having more than 1 dog around at home but are not ready to get another doggie just yet. Also Sandi is probably not ready to have another dog in our home 24/7.

Do you fuss over who to leave your dog with when you are out of town? We'd have to schedule a doggie date and sort out the finer details but we'd be open to taking care of your dog for any length of time in our home, if we're in town!

If this idea sounds interesting and you have some traveling planned in the near future, do get in touch!

Hi Sheeba,

This sounds exactly like something I could've written. We've got a 2-year old Vizsla who sounds a lot like your dog, and he's so much happier when we're dogsitting for one of our friends. I just don't think my wife and I are ready to commit to a second dog at this time, so we try borrowing our friends' dogs any chance we get.

What part of town are you in? We're in Ballard, and I work from home, so I'm very flexible.

Thanks!
Adam

Hey Adam

Thanks for the email! I'm glad you think the same- the main reason we're doing this is- our love for (more) dogs in the house and getting Sandi to socialise more. We live near the Marymoor Dog park in Redmond and try to take her there often but as soon as she sees a ball, all dogs (people, anything!) are invisible! :)

So yeah, we'd love to have Sandi meet your dog (btw, I LOVE Vizsla's!) and if they get along, it would be really great to dog sit for you sometime.

I dont think I was very clear in the email, but this would be free of charge. :) Possible dog sitting exchange?
