What we're about

The FUNK of FORTY THOUSAND YEARS!

Thrill The World is the annual worldwide simultaneous dance to Michael Jackson's "Thriller." December, 2020 marked the 37th anniversary of his Thriller video.

This event is a global community project that inspires others to break down barriers by connecting people of all religions, races, political persuasions, and economic backgrounds.

Each year in October the Seattle Thrillers join Thriller groups in other nations to perform at the same time. The 15th annual Thrill The World performance will take place at Normandy Park Towne Center in Normandy Park, WA. The event will be Saturday, October 30, 2021 at 3:00 pm precisely. This year the Seattle Thrillers dance troupe is partnering with The Friends of Normandy Park Foundation https://friendsofnormandypark.org/

For Thrill The World 2021, the Seattle Thrillers will be following King County's outdoor mask mandate for gatherings of 500 or more regardless of vaccination status. All dancers will be required to wear masks while performing, irrespective of the number of attendees.

The local group also performs for various organizations in and around Seattle for donations to their selected charity. If you live in the greater Seattle area and would like to learn the dance in a class setting, in-person rehearsals will resume the weekend after Labor Day, 2021. It is free to learn the dance.

Thrill The World is not a flash mob as the media is contacted prior to the performance.

Sponsors: Friends of Normandy Park Foundation, Zombie Fest Northwest, City of Normandy Park, My World Dance & Fitness, Napolitano Skin & Body Studio.

T-Shirts: Seattle Thrillers T-Shirts will be available soon.
