Final Update: Thrill The Walk for the Alzheimer's Association

Final update for our performance this Saturday:

Parking:  From I-5 take Mercer.  Get in the far right lane.  Go right on Westlake.  Pass South Lake Union Park (park will be on your right).  You will see a long parking lot that follows the lake.  Park anywhere in that lot.  They are expecting 2,000 people, so get there early if you'd like to park there.  Or visit the website below for other options.

If you would like, there are options for volunteering before or after their event:

Volunteering Before The Event:

If you are able to volunteer to help register the walkers, please be on site by 8:15 and call me when you arrive.  If you do not have my cell # please message me.  Registration begins at 8:30.  I will be there by 7:30 to meet with the organizer. The associations' volunteers will be wearing yellow t-shirts.

Volunteering After The Event:

If you would like to volunteer afterward instead to help in the initial stages of breaking down the event, they will begin this process at 10:00.  This portion of the breakdown will take about 45 minutes.  The final breakdown will take place at 11:15.

Performing:

Requested by the event's organizer, we will perform first facing the crowd (full speed / no cueing).  Then we will dance to the slowest speed with cueing with our backs facing the crowd to give them a chance to participate.

Original Message:

We will be performing at the walk for our charity, The Alzheimer's Association, Saturday, September 21st, 9:15 am.  Free parking info for their event is included in the following link (in the top section click on "Event Details" then "Parking"):

 http://act.alz.org/site/TR/Walk/WA-WesternandCentralWashingtonState?fr_id=3778&pg=entry

We will dance in street clothes just before their walk begins at South Lake Union Park, 860 Terry Ave N in Seattle.

If you can join me in volunteering to help register their walkers please e-mail me from our site by clicking on my photo.  They will be volunteering to help us on the day of our Thrill The World event at Occidental Park in October.

Can't make the walk, but wondering if we'll have a run through at Westlake prior to the Occidental Park performance? also, are there any photos from last year's performances?
