  • Thrill Zombie Fest Northwest
We have been invited back to perform at Zombie Fest Northwest in Normandy Park Saturday, September 15th, 2018. The event is 2:00-6:00. We will perform twice, 3:30 and 4:30. If you would like to perform with us, please be there & dressed by 2:00. We will meet at the DJ's tent and find an area off to the side to go through the routine. Immediately following each performance we will repeat our tradition of slowing the music down to the slowest speed with cueing to allow the crowd to follow along with us for the entire routine. There will not be a special teaching session for this performance. This will be for those already familiar with the routine. If you need to refresh the routine, please email me and I will send links to the tutorials. Zombie Fest NW is a fun, family-friendly event that raises awareness about disaster and emergency preparedness. Everyone needs to be prepared for emergencies! Experts from the WA National Guard, the state Emergency Management office, police and fire will be there, along with ham radio operators and more! Don't know how to become a Zombie? Don't worry! Visit their FREE "Get Zombified" booth - complete with Zombie make-up and Zombie clothing - thanks to their generous sponsors and volunteers! There’s a FREE scavenger hunt for kids to build their own disaster preparedness kits. Enjoy local food booths, a charity beer/wine garden, a zombie mock disaster zone with emergency and military vehicles including a self-propelled gun (Sure look like a BRITISH TANK to us!) and a Jurassic Park Jeep, a Zombie costume contest (Judged by KOMO TV celebrities), FREE zombie face-painting & costumes, FREE pumpkins, cool ZFNW merchandise for sale and $5 raffle baskets to raise money for non-profits, & MORE! • Thrill Ballard Locks Centennial Celebration!
We have been invited to perform at the Ballard Locks Centennial Celebration Sunday, October 22 at 1:00. A donation to our charity will be made for our performance. The Ballard Locks have become the 2nd largest attraction in Seattle, and they parallel with the lock in Chicago for carrying more boat traffic than any other lock in the U.S. They officially opened July 4, 1917. If you will be performing with us please arrive dressed in zombie attire at 12:00 promptly as our go to ranger, Katie, will be meeting all dancers at the front entrance iron gate at 12:00 to escort us to their private parking area provided for entertainers. After parking we will go through the routine in a secluded area. This performance is for those who will be attending our upcoming rehearsals which will begin in August and for those who are already familiar with the routine. Please keep your rsvps updated as there are a few options of our performance area and dance formation that will depend on the number of dancers participating. I have provided Katie with the link to our rsvp site so that she can stay informed of our head count.
