Self-Care Strategies for Grievers during the Holidays

For those who have suffered one or more major losses (e.g. career, health, divorce or break up, death, just to name a few) the holidays can be “The Saddest, Loneliest Time of the Year” instead of “The Most Wonderful Time of the Year.”

In this interactive presentation, you will learn the common myths about grief and what normal grieving looks like. You will also walk away with strategies for practicing self-care during the holidays.

Rev. Lisa Fournier is an interfaith/interspiritual minister, life coach, spiritual counselor, Certified Grief Recovery Specialist® and Hospice Chaplain. Having reinvented herself after several life losses of her own, she is in the process of writing a book, “Bliss and Bless: A Guide to Choosing Happiness and Learning from Loss”, due to be published next year.

Door open at 6:30 pm

Program starts at 7 pm

Talk is free, but donations (suggested $10-$20) for HeartSong are appreciated.
