Thanks for organising a great event Dave.

The presentations were awesome, and lots of detail was added by Simon and Eran.

Thanks guys, (and Google) for a great evening that was also really informative.

This was a great event, very enjoyable and packed with information. Great audience and speakers. Thanks to all organisers for arranging and Google for hosting the event. We should do more of these at regular intervals.

I had a really good time at the meetup and had a good time speaking. There were really good questions for everyone. Good food, good beer and good geeking!

An excellent evening! Thank you to David, Simon, and Eran for their talks, and Google for awesome hosts!

Excellent meetup. We were treated like royalty by Simon and the other Google employees (we are his primary user base and potential evangelists I suppose). Excellent quality Food and Drink was provided. The presentations were all very relevant and informative. We got a very thorough overview of Selenium 2, how it works and what it is capable of. If I am invited back to Google in the future, I will jump at the chance.

An excellent introduction to the features of Selenium.

Really useful information. Looking forward to the next one. Venue was of course excellent. Only suggestion would be to possibly show the testing approach from a less technical perspective, if there is one.

It was good in terms of technical knowledge. However the event organisation in general was not that good.

It was good to get some information and see a few demos.

Agenda is now confirmed. Regrettably Simon Stewart is no longer able to attend, however we are thrilled to have Eran Messeri take Simon's place on the agenda. Eran is a core committer to WebDriver/Selenium and works with Simon at Google.

Venue now confirmed as Google London, this is no longer a tentative event. Details of speakers/presentations to follow.

I'll be at the Agile Testing meetup next week, so will check out the venue then.

The last meetup event had max 20 attendees, so under 30 is a definate possibility. I could set a limit of 30 and a waiting list like I did for the previous event. Also, it's highly likely that this event will be a weekday evening. Feel free to contact me directly with venue suggestions.

How many attendees? If under 30 and in evening, might be able to suggest location.

    January 26, 2010

  • Dave H.

It will be in London, however I'm open to suggestions with regard to specific venue. It will need facilities for presentations/demonstrations.

Alan S has a good point, where would this meetup likely be hosted?
