Please join us for our next meetup on July 19th as we welcome Adam Goucher, noted Selenium expert and active Selenium Committer, who will teach us about proxies, HAR files, and using JS Executors to test Flex & Flash with WebDriver. The abstract is included below and since it's full of technical goodies, I'm expecting this meetup to fill up fast - so register early.
Thanks to our friends at Okta for offering to host this event in their new space. We appreciate it!

*All* WebDriver does is drive a browser. Nothing more, nothing less. Which means there are a lot of things that are out of scope to the Selenium project that are handy to have for scripting -- like HTTP response codes and hooking into 3rd party application execution environments (like Flex and Flash). WebDriver does provide the means to do both of these; if you know how. I'll cover how to wire your scripts through a scriptable proxy (BrowserMob) to get at the raw HTTP traffic information, as well the JS Executor, which allows for such magic as driving Flex and Flash through WebDriver.
Adam has been doing functional automation for a lot longer than most, and now does it exclusively with Selenium. While he has not [yet] written a book on automation, he was one of the two editors of the testing compilation 'Beautiful Testing'
