Continuous Versioned Deployments Across Tomcat + How Change.org uses Selenium

Join us for our next meetup at lovely offices of Change.org!

We'll have Karan Malhi, product Manager at MuleSoft, show us how to do automated deployments of Jenkins builds to a Tomcat Server Farm. It will also touch on topics such as versioned deployments, rolling back deployments, pushing a uniform configuration across Tomcat instances, having different profiles for QA and Production, and more.

After that, Frisco Del Rosario, a quality engineer at Change.org, will give a talk on how Change is using Selenium. Change.org is revolutionizing the way people create change online, empowering anyone, anywhere to start and win campaigns. Frisco will share what he's learned from extending the company's WebDriver/Capybara tests to include SafariDriver, while improving the stability of FirefoxDriver and ChromeDriver already in place.

We'll kick off things at 6:30 with food and drinks, and followed by the presentation at 7pm. Thanks to @change for hosting and we'll see you there!

Agenda
6:30pm - food, drinks, mingling
7:00pm - welcome, announcements
7:15pm - Talk by Karan Malhi

He is also a committer at the Apache Software Foundation and has worked actively on Apache TomEE/OpenEJB and JDO. Karan has been working with Java for more than a decade and was a Trainer in his past life.
