I just want to let you know of a career opportunity here in San Francisco. Military Advantage is looking for a Senior QA Engineer. We're located in the heart of downtown San Francisco just steps from Bart and Muni.

Job Description :
Military Advantage is looking for a Senior QA Engineer with Release Engineering background. This position will challenge your ability to manage, plan, and implement tests for numerous of our Java Web applications. You should have an extensive background in web application testing, as well as knowledge of application construction, development, and deployment. Duties:

* Create, implement, and manage test cases using Selenium and Java in Eclipse IDE.
* Work with QA and Engineering to create and manage tests to be used within the Hudson-based Continuous Integration (CI) environment.
* Document the process to create and maintain automated test scripts.
* Monitor test and job status using results from CI environment and Splunk. Make sure tests and test systems are functional and producing viable results. Use existing (or develop additional) systems to monitor test system and alert as needed.
* Load and stress tests using JMeter and optionally, external services (BrowserMob, SauceLabs).
* Recommend other tools or services to help manage tests, both automated and manual (i.e. Mercury/HP Quality Center, Segue/Borland SilkTest).
* Review test documentation, write test plans and procedures. Document progress and status in corporate wiki.

Job Requirements :


* BS degree in Computer Science or Engineering or comparable relevant work experience.
* 4 years experience developing and implementing build systems using configuration.
* Comfortable with programming and scripting environments (Linux CLI, Eclipse, Java).
* UNIX / Linux savvy - some basic sysadmin knowledge is a must, though our Ops team handles the real admin duties.
* Well-versed in software development lifecycle tools, including configuration management (CVS, Subversion, Peforce), and bug tracking (Bugzilla, Mantis, TestTrack).
* Detail-oriented to handle the dozens of Java applications that move through various staging environments.
* Both a motivated self-starter and valued team member, with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Verifiable employment and proof of eligibility to work.
