Dear friends
During this event we will concentrate on verses from chapter 28 of Tao Te Ching. We will reflect together this chapter and then will go for a 20 minute walking meditation in the park!!
Tao Te Ching by Lao Tzu is a chinese classical text with 81 verses of wisdom. Though Tao Te Ching has been interpreted subjectively according to who is reading it, for a seeker on the path of wisdom it is a wonderful and precise guide to the process of becoming an enlightened being, to accomplish, within oneself, a high level of spiritual cultivation.

**Verse 28 of Tao Te Ching**

*"Know the strength of the masculine*
*yet preserve the feminine.*
*Remaining receptive to all under Heaven*
*do not separate yourself from the eternal virtue (Te).*
*Become again as a child.*
*Know the white (yang)*
*but embrace the black (yin).*
*Serve as a model for all under Heaven.*
*Serving as a model for all under Heaven*
*and not deviating from the eternal virtue*
*one returns to the primordial origin (wuji).*
*Know honor yet maintain humility.*
*Be as a valley for the world.*
*Being as a valley for the world*
*remain in touch with the eternal virtue.*
*Return to the simple and natural (pu).*
*When the wood is carved*
*it becomes useful*
*yet the sage remains with the simple and natural.*
*Thus her carving injures no one."*
