Sensemakers End of the Year Session
We close the year with a chat, a drink, some networking and a presentation of about how they got from an idea to prototype, crowdfunding and now a product! We'll also raffle off a ticket to the Things Network Conference, some raspberry's donated by SpeakSee and hopefully more:-) This year we're hosted at, a free coding school designed to boost talent. Check out their website & mission! Doors open at 18.00 for networking & discussing/showing projects. Presentations usually start at 19h & end around 20.30 with "open mic" when you can share your own story/event/question. ==================================== During or meetups we talk and do Internet-of-Things, Sensors, Arduino, RaspPi, electronics and more. Ranging from projects (Air Quality, waterquality, and soon starting: sound in the city), presentations (IoT& Blockchain, Security, AI etc), events and just getting together to talk. Everybody is welcome: Technical, non-technical or just interested. If you like to know more, be involved or are just curious: Just come to one of our regular meetups every third Wednesday of the Month. In addition, we want to bring in speakers for each event, who can share their thoughts, experiences and/or wisdom. So if you know someone, let us know. Follow us on twitter:SensemakersAMS ( or join us on Slack by providing us your emailadress.

What we're about

Meetup dedicated to creative, advanced and human-centered Internet-of-Things, sensor(networks), electronics/hardware. We get together twice a month to share knowledge, handson, interests and human networks.

The first Wednesday of the month, at the Sensemakers Lab session we do hands-on Internet-of-Things, with Arduino, RaspberryPi, Microbit, etc. You can do your own projects, learn from zero or participate in one of the projects related to waterquality, irrigation, airquality and sound (starting Feb. 2019)
This meetup is hosted at the Public Library (Oba) where we can use their 3Dprinters and lasercutters for prototyping & experimenting.

The third Wednesday of the month we discuss and listen to presentations on Internet-of-Things and related subjects (networks, sensors, new startups, security, AI, blockchain). Feel free to contact Manon if you want to suggest a speaker or share a topic yourself!
