At Sensemakers we like to empower people by sharing knowledge, experience, human networs and offering a creative DIY hands-on environment where we also learn by collaborating on relevant #citizenscience.
In 2019 we also started, together with the OBA, to organize some dedicated workshops and we're very glad to announce that Eric Bezzam from Snips' Machine Learning Team will come over to Amsterdam to do a workshop introducing Snips and showing how to build a voice assistant using their platform (https://console.snips.ai/login) that is completely free for developers and makers.
What makes Snips so special is that their voice assistant solution is Private-by-Design and has the ability to run on device and off-line, making it a very important and worthy alternative to Alexa, Google Home and the likes!
They will also give away a couple of maker kits (https://makers.snips.ai/kit/) so that participants that plan to build solutions with it have a kickstart!
A few days before, the people who have RSVP-ed will receive an email explaining what software to install in preparation for the workshop.
