As promised during last Wednesday’s workshop some reference info.

I use rshell in combination with vs-code (https://code.visualstudio.com/) as my editor/ide for:

(Micro)Python with the Python plug-in,

C and C++,  including the Arduino Plugin,

Javascript / Typescript,

HTML,

JSON

                It can do a lot, but the learning curve is steep.

Also got a tip for the Thonny ‘ide’.  Didn’t try it myself yet.  Seems to have MicroPython support for the BBC Microbit.  Don’t know if it supports ESP8266 or 32 currently.
