Let's get together and share some love by sewing up some little dresses. The charity is called Little Dresses for Africa and it is exactly what it sounds like: making up little dresses for girls in Africa. Here is the about page from the charity's website:
The pattern we'll be using is super simple and can be made from as little as half a yard of fabric. We'll have some fabric here to cut up but this would be a great opportunity to clean out your stashes of those remnant pieces of cotton (quilting cotton is perfect).
We'll be there the whole day but you don't have to stay the whole time. Drop in for however long you can. If you don't have your machine with you, you can do some cutting, ironing, folding or cheerleading:)
If you can't make it this weekend, just keep an eye on our calendar. We'll be trying to have more regular charity sewing events.
