SFPHP Leadership and Organization

Clearly we need some help here. I'm happy to be an obnoxious public figurehead and be the voice working to fund and drive things, but we need people to organize and run the meetup events.

This is a chance for any and all interested parties to come together and help get this machine running again.

It doesn't necessarily have to be this date, but I wanted to pick one, and I can provide a place but it's somewhat space limited, and I don't know how much interest there will be in attending this.

I'm super excited to see what SF PHP will become with our new cast of awesome organizers. I think it's about to get dialed back to 11 like it should have been all this time... :)

A scheduling issue has come up that precludes my attendance today. I wish I could be there. I do hope to be there for the next event.

Hey everyone - the coworking space is on the second floor. If no one is around or the door is closed - there is a buzzer on the door frame - just push that and we can buzz you in, and just walk up one flight of stairs. I will put a sign on the front door pointing to the right buzzer.

hey i'm one of the people who wrote you - i just checked with owner of the coworking space and its fine to meet tonight. Its just a few blocks up from where you wanted to meet - Nomad-A-What coworking 639 Clay Street, just around from Kearny and the transamerica building. http://nomadawhat.com

Awesome! Thank you! I'm a little worried we might be/get a little loud but I think we can keep it all under control... :D

I've found a number of offers for a place other than Super Duper to host this -- in my spam folder, this morning. All great examples of why I need to get out of the way. If there is anyone who can sort out hosting this tonight somewhere other than super duper but near by it (so as to not radically change people's plans) please just let us know here, and I'll try to check back frequently today.

Ill try my best to show and help out. But since it's been like 6 years since I've attended/presented at SFPHP, I'll need someone to recognize me. :-)

I'll be out of town for the next month and a half, but would love to get involved!

Sorry Everyone, I can't make Tuesday nights as I teach jujitsu in the Castro Rec Center. Hope this meetup goes well and that there is video to watch after.

And I was all super geared up because I thought it was *this* Tuesday... good grief. :)

I'm going to set it to Super Duper unless something better/whatever comes up. Maybe it's because I'm hungry...

I'm excited to see so many people signed up to come. I don't have a great space for this many people, though! :D We could just go take over the top of Super Duper or something, perhaps?

Thanks, Jacob. This meetup has been a good discovery and learning venue for me in the past. I view it as an important part of the PHP community here. I haven't attended much events since moving to the south bay, but will to help where I can to keep the organization going.

I agree with Alex. I feel the SFPHP meetup is a great thing for the local PHP community. Looking forward to discussing how we can keep it going.
