The Blue Monday is a 1996 Hunter 28 ft. sloop-rigged sailboat with a working head.
Be prepared for cold, windy and wet conditions (though we often have lovely sunny weather). Please wear non-marking shoes. The boat has life jackets for all, which I require wearing, esp when out of the cockpit on windy days. Please feel free to bring your own PFD. You will also have to sign a Liability Waiver before we leave. Provisioning - white (not red!!!) wine, other drinks and snacks to share - is always a good idea. Bring your camera too!
The most important thing to bring with you is a good, easy-going, flexible attitude.
There is plenty of free parking next to Gate C. Please note that cell phones don’t work well close to the Marina, so please try to be prompt.
I have learned to put everybody on the Meet-Up “Wait List,” and then I will make final crew choices the morning before the sail based on getting some newbies aboard, having some experienced crew available, etc.
I look forward to Meeting Up with you!
