Announcing a new Meetup for Bay Area Seasteading Socials!

What: Seasteading Social at the Hyatt Regency SF

When: Wednesday, May 26,[masked]:30 PM

Where:
Hyatt Regency San Francisco
5 Embarcadero Center
San Francisco, CA 94111
[masked]

Come share a drink with members of The Seasteading Institute and the community of seasteaders who fill the whole spectrum of interest from curious to committed.

This month, we're taking our meetup to the lovely lounge of the Hyatt Regency in downtown San Francisco, in view of the sun setting on the blue waters of the Bay. It's a classy yet low-key setting ideal for conversation, with a full bar as well as tables for dinner and casual appetizers.

We'll be talking politics, science, feasibility, oceans, and markets, and maybe throwing around a few crazy dreams too. Find us there in the lounge starting at 7:30pm and parting ways only when we've had our fill.

About the Hyatt Regency Eclipse Lounge:

  • full bar
  • "dressy casual" feel
  • bar and dinner menus available

(Read more and see pictures on Hyatt's website.)

Getting there:

The Hyatt Regency is easy to reach by mass transit from almost anywhere in the Bay. Lots of buses and streetcars stop at or near it, and the Embarcadero BART stop has an exit right in front of the hotel.

Google Maps does a good job of providing driving, transit, and even walking and biking directions (click here).
