Kiki's Info... I am already spayed, housetrained, up to date with shots, and not good with cats. Kiki's Story... Meet Kiki on Saturday, May 3rd, at our Bernal Beast Adoption Event in San Francisco: and at the Chihuahua Meetup Sunday 12-2. Kiki ‘s high spirits show the heart of this little dog. This 4 pound Maltese has been through more than any 10 month old pup should ever experience. Kiki was released to a shelter with two broken front legs. One of Kiki’s legs was so badly infected, it had to be amputated. This has not slowed her down. She loves to go on short walks and follows her foster mom around everywhere. She loves to be picked up and carried, to sit in your lap, and to play with her squeaky toys. Even better, she is house-trained! Kiki’s puppy energy needs to be moderated with training. This little girl has amazing determination. Now she needs to take on learning doggie manners. Kiki is very smart- it doesn’t take her long to figure things out. She should be getting her cast off very soon and will be ready to get on with her life. Grateful Dogs Rescue incurs substantial medical and other costs in rescuing our dogs. In order to recoup some of these costs, we must charge an adoption fee. The adoption fee for Kiki is $200. If you are interested in adopting Kiki, please complete our online adoption application at One of our volunteers will get back to you. Adoptions are local, confined to the SF Bay Area.
