It seems like it changes every generation of games, When I was young, probably mortal kombat, sonic, mario games, lot of those mainstream games in the SNES era, then I played a lot of starcraft, twisted metal, goldeneye, smash bros in 64 /PS1 era, halo, halflife, battlefield, kotor, CoD, ghost recon, then became obsessed with WoW for a good bit til BC, in the current generation, early on I actually spent more time focused on music and creating paintings but was still playing games when I could. And now I'm more interested in horror games and story based games like mass effect, dead space, telltale's walking dead game, heavy rain, and the cool experimental stuff thats been comming out of the indie space like slender and scp.
I mainly would like to meet people who would be interested in making some really good games, as well as just meeting people who have similar interests
Primarily painting, 2d concept art, I spend a lot of time making music but have never done it for game design specifically. I try and familiarize myself with the mainstream engines like UDK, unity, and source at least to the point where I can talk about them with people who know more about it than I do.
Hey, my name is Mike, I love games, been playing since my earliest memories. My main field is in art 2d illustration, but I make a lot of music on the side as well, currently on an indie team working on some weird stuff.
