VonChurch is hiring a new office manager!

The office manager at reports directly to the CFO, serves as assistant to the CEO, and supports and manages an office of 20 sales people and recruiters. This role requires someone who is able to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment, establish priorities, meet deadlines, and juggle competing tasks and demand. You must be proactive, adaptable and creative. You must embrace change, be able to recommend and implement solutions that arise with change. Within a year we expect to double in size and open additional offices, both international and domestic.

Roles & Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Human Resources and Resource Management
• Conduct first round interviews for new internal recruiters
• Revise and maintain in-house company handbook and ensuring policies are adhered to internally
• Set up and maintain staff records, vacation pay, sick pay, payroll and benefit information
• Leading and executing the onboarding process for internal new hires
• Monitor VonChurch’s green business practices

Finance
• Perform intermediate accounting duties, such as bill processing, invoicing, and general accounting duties. Quickbooks experience a plus
• Manage and track contractor contracts: collect timesheets, invoice clients, ensure payout
• Partner directly with the CFO on matters of fiscal responsibility
• Ensure the company remains compliant through the recruitment process

Event Management
• Plan annual company Tahoe Ski Trip
• Organize annual Board Meeting and associated paperwork
• Plan various company-sponsored industry events and conferences

Marketing/Candidate Acquisition
• Ensuring all internal documents meet company ‘house style’
• Management of Company Website (including administration of site)
• Working with designer and CEO to ensure the VonChurch brand is consistent

Support
• First line support for all IT and database issues, escalating externally where necessary
• Facilitate travel arrangements for the business
• Office management and maintenance

Desirable Skills
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel and Quickbooks
