Hey All -

April is a great month for Pythonistas this year - many of you are

starting to pack your bags for Montréal and PyCon 2014.

SF Python meetup will be taking the month off. We won't have a

presentation night or project night for the month of April but we'll be back

strong in May!

If you're missing PyCon there are many events that can help you

get your Python fix and tide you over until May.

Eventbrite is hosting "Advanced Django Patterns" - a tutorial by

Eventbrite and Lanyrd engineers about tips, tricks, techniques and

architectural patterns for scaling Django apps to handle large volumes

of data and traffic. Doors open at 6:30 this Monday night - please see

https://djangopatterns.eventbrite.com to register.

Continuing in the Django theme - SF Django meetup will be meeting

on April 30th to discuss the upcoming 1.7 release with Andrew Godwin who has

ported his popular data migration library (South) to

django.db.migrations for the 1.7 release. See

http://www.meetup.com/The-San-Francisco-Django-Meetup-Group/events/174196002/

for this event.

That ought to keep you busy for April! Enjoy PyCon for me!
