New Meetup: F# Fundamentals: Video Night

From: Matt
Sent on: Wednesday, October 6, 2010 7:16 PM
Announcing a new Meetup for The San Francisco Bay Area F# User Group!

What: F# Fundamentals: Video Night

When: Monday, November 1,[masked]:30 PM

Where: Microsoft
835 Market St Ste 700
San Francisco, CA 94103

Since many people are still learning F#, let's concentrate on fundamentals before we talk about more advanced topics. Let's meet to watch a 3 part series of Don Syme, F#'s creator, giving an overview of the language. We'll leave some time for questions and general discussion too. Even if you've seen the videos or think you can just watch them on your own, you'll likely benefit from discussing things with the group.

If you're interested in giving a short ~5 minute lightning talk, let me know. Consider picking one part of the F# language and teaching the group about it, or consider just talking about how you've been using F#.

After 6pm, ask the security guard to let you up to the 7th floor.
