How often do you ride outdoors, for both transport and exercise?

Yes! One of the best places to ride...

Did you ride much in your youth? How long have you been riding regularly as an adult?

One of my favorite rides in the City! map courtesy of: peter_scheidl

Are you the adventurous solo type or do you prefer the safety of a group?

The first time I rode my new 35lbs "29er Urban Assault" specially designed to attack the "SF Tarmac". No scanning for pot holes on this Beast! LOL On a coaster race downhill past the Cliffhouse towards Ocean Beach @ 8:30 pm on a crystal clear, bright starry, full moon, crisp ocean air night with about 25 Butterlap'ers! (4th of July 2012) Camino Alto was closed to traffic. Miles, Michael & I mashed it on the descent from Mill Valley to Corte Madera. No cars & No braking! (August 26, 2012) 10 min descent from Pan Toll Rd into Stinson Beach. KILLER VIEW! Speeds up to 40 MPH. (Jan 19, 2013) 49.7 MPH Descent from Pantoll Ranger Station to 4 Corners. Thank god for dics brakes! (May 18, 2013) 52.3 MPH off the top of Wilson Hill

How many bikes do you own, what's your current favorite? And what is your favorite riding in this area?

The more the merrier! An ideal ride for me is about 55 to 75 miles long with a stop or 2 to enjoy the scenery along the way. The ride has to consist of hills to feel that "GRIND" and after riding we can hang & reward ourselves with something savory or sweet to replenish all the calories we burned : )

What are you hoping to get from membership of this group?

No answer yet

I started riding almost a year ago and I'm so addicted!
