National Animal Rights Day 2026 San Francisco

SFVS is joining the National Animal Rights Day (NARD) 16 in San Francisco! 🐾

This animal rights activism event will include:
● A Rally featuring esteemed speakers on the subject of animal rights.
● A March in support of the progress that is being made towards getting non-human animals legal rights to help end their suffering and promote their freedom.
● A Memorial Ceremony to commemorate the billions of animals who die every year by human hands.

TENTATIVE DETAILS:
Location: Civic Center Plaza in San Francisco behind City Hall
When: Sunday, June 7th from 1-3pm
Event Schedule (subject to minor adjustments):
• 12:00–1:00 PM: Setup
• 1:00–2:30 PM: Rally with opening remarks and speeches
• 2:30–2:45 PM: Sidewalk march around Civic Center Plaza with chants and brief symbolic stops
• 2:45–3:00 PM: Memorial ceremony with imagery, ceremonial statements and closing reflections
• 3:00 PM: Celebration with vegan anthem premiere.
• 3:00–4:00 PM: Breakdown and cleanup
