This is a space for people of the Idealist personality type. If "curious, compassionate, and creative" are words that describe you, then welcome!
You see the best in people -- you see possibilities everywhere. You are intuitive, often express yourself with metaphors, and can't wait to share your insights.
More than social status, you seek meaning and connection in relationships. You think deeply and are energized by ways to improve yourself and the world.
Integrity and authenticity matter a lot, and you are guided by the big picture. You are stressed if you have to pretend to be something you're not. You are pained when you see someone cause damage to themselves, to others or to the environment.
You are a giver, and you gain deep satisfaction in seeing people thrive. Personal growth and the well-being of others are high on your priorities. You can be a little self-absorbed at times, but you care deeply, sometimes too deeply, about people and things important to you.
Let's get together and learn to understand ourselves better!
If you are into MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator) and you fall under the ENFJ, ENFP, INFJ or INFP types, you may rate highly on Idealist traits.
Group chemistry is important to us. At many of our events, we try to create a safe space to nurture bonding and deeper connections. The organizer has the discretion to remove members who cause discomfort to others by speaking or behaving inappropriately.
The organizers work hard to plan useful events for our community. As a basic courtesy, if you RSVP for an event but your plans change and you are unable to attend, you are responsible for updating your RSVP. We keep track of no-shows and reserve the right to remove members who RSVP but fail to show up without a good explanation.
STATEMENT OF DIVERSITY AND INCLUSIVENESS
As long as you are willing and able to be respectful, considerate and supportive to others in this community, we welcome all types of idealists regardless of age, ancestry, ethnicity, religious belief or non-belief, gender, gender identity or expression, sexual orientation, medical or mental health history, disability or handicap. The organizers have the discretion to remove members who behave in a discriminatory or intolerant way towards others.
