A tour of the Japanese Cemetery Park
Why the cemetery tour?
Because it is a good place to learn about the early Japanese settlers in Singapore. The place itself is peaceful with a nice garden and a shinto shrine. Check out some pictures from our last visit to this place in 2007 (http://gallery.me.com/preetam#100053).
Date: Sunday, 19th April
Time: 11 AM
Meeting Point: Ang Mo Kio bus interchange (inside the AMK hub mall, near the AMK MRT). Come to Berth 2, We will be taking the bus number 73 (30 minutes ride)
Contact: Call/SMS me (Preetam) at[masked] if you have trouble finding the place.
It is an open space so please bring water/umbrellas etc. There is also a drink vending machine at the park. After the cemetery tour, we will go to Chomp Chomp food centre for lunch.
