Much Ado About Nothing recap and announcing Coriolanus

From: Andrew J.
Sent on: Sunday, September 11, 2011 5:00 PM

There were lots of new faces today - I hope your first impression was a good one and that you will become regulars. Dogberry was particularly hilarious, and I thought Beatrice, Hero and Claudio were all spot on. Great job on one of my favourite plays.

Next time: it's time for another tragedy. Come and help tell the story of a man whose downfall lies in his violent aversion to self-promotion.

We tried to read this once before, in the early days of the group, but too few people showed up so we read "Rosencrantz and Guildenstern are Dead" instead. We've been having pretty good turnouts the past couple of meetups so let's try it again (but if there are fewer than 6 "yes" RSVPs by the 21st I'll take it to mean that there's just insufficient interest in this play).

For more details, see the full listing:

When: Sunday, September 25,[masked]:00 PM

Where: Inner Chapters Bookstore & Cafe
419 Fairview Ave N (between Republican & Harrison)
Seattle, WA 98109

Since Inner Chapters is not normally open on Sundays, the owner has requested that we make a $5 per person minimum purchase to make it worth her while to open for us. If that would prevent you from coming please let us know and we'll work something out - we don't want anybody to be "priced out" of the reading.
