She's Coding meeting (women-only)

Details

Join us for an evening of fun, networking, making friends, discussions, a talk and more!

We are looking forward to a talk by Maelle Vance (https://www.linkedin.com/in/maellevance/): "Write Documentation: seriously, people will like you". Documentation is one way to become a key player in your team, learn quickly and spread your knowledge. This talk provides an overview of what documentation is, when you should write it and advice on how to actually get to writing it. Maelle went through the Python bootcamp at Code Fellows in 2016 and is currently a Data Programmer at Ookla.

What is She's Coding? She's Coding is an open-source project that aims to close the gender gap in tech through community involvement, education, and empowerment. We love your involvement and are always on the lookout for passionate people of all skill sets that want to help out -- coders, designers, content producers, project managers, and more.

What is going on at our monthly meetings? We meet every fourth Thursday of a month. Meet the She's Coding team & fellow volunteers, plan future She's Coding features, talk about events & opportunities, etc. We often feature speakers from within the community - please let us know if you're interested in talking (beginners and test talk runs welcome).

Our meetup is a safe, inclusive, welcoming, non-intimidating & beginner-friendly space.

Please message the organizers if you or your company are interested in sponsoring these event (food, drinks, give-aways). Thanks!
