Come join us on Feb 19th to take a hands-on look at some new and upcoming JavaScript language features!

We’ll be using Google’s traceur-compiler to work through a few real world use cases that can now be solved more eloquently. EcmaScript Harmony features to be demonstrated includes generators, iterators, promises, async functions, classes and more!

PLEASE ARRIVE AT 6:50PM - WE'LL BE STARTING PROMPTLY AT 7PM.

What to expect:

In this workshop, we will be primarily showing off "demonstrative coding" but a git repository will be sent out to those who want to code along. You can expect to explore a variety of different use cases for using new JavaScript features including running in the browser and in Node.js.

Is this workshop for you?

All code demonstrating new features will be contrasted with current ES5 compatible code that solves the same problem. As a result, this workshop can of value to JavaScript developers of any level.

What to bring:

Your laptop with Git, Node.js and the latest Chrome installed. Or just bring yourself and watch.
