Join us on Aug 20th to build an iOS app using Swift.

In this workshop we will be covering a basic intro to the Swift language as well as getting set up to build and deploy your Swift apps in the simulator. We’ll be working in steps, so there will be Swift content for both beginners, and experienced developers who may want to work ahead.

This is an Apple laptop only workshop.

What to expect:

We will be building a tempo measuring app. The app will respond to your touches and display the tempo that you are currently tapping.

Please be on time as we'll be starting promptly at 7pm.

Is this workshop for you?

This workshop is designed for developers with prior programming experience. Previous iOS or Objective-C experience is helpful but not necessary.

What to bring:

Apple laptop + charger

Install and run Xcode 6.4 (https://developer.apple.com/xcode/downloads/) before arriving. Leave yourself plenty of time - download, install, and first launch can take awhile.
