For distance runners looking to include VO2max and threshold training into their programme. This group is NOT for people seeking a walk to run programme. Our evening training sessions cater for those that run 5k between 15:00 and 28:00 minutes. Slower runners are, however, more than welcome at East Coast Park parkrun on Saturday mornings.
Due to the popularity of our sessions, we are only able to take on runners that are regularly competing in running and triathlon races. Please also note that if you choose to train with us there is an expectation that you compete for Shufflers and NOT rival groups in team running events (corporate teams being the exception). In fact, if you are already training with another group in Singapore, please do not apply to join our group as we are not interested in taking runners away from other groups.
It is essential that you contact us before attending our Monday or Wednesday night track sessions for the first time. We will turn away newcomers that have not done so.
It is also essential that you bring a watch with lap function to every training session so that you can monitor your pace and improvement over time.
