Join us for an hour of writing! We’ve discovered that it’s strikingly helpful to write with other writers. See if it’s true for you at 2:30 PM on Thursday afternoons!
Be it a book, blog, script, essay, dissertation, resume, melody, poem or just plain work stuff, you are invited to write it with us. No one will see what you've written or give you unsolicited advice. Instead of just thinking about writing, come and get some real writing done.
2:15 PM - SESSION 1: quick intros.
2:30 PM - timer starts: write for 1 hour.
3:30 PM - chat / take off / keep writing. Natian closes at 10 PM.
OPTIONAL SOCIALIZING happens from 2:15 to 2:30, and after 3:30. Writing is very solitary. Connecting (and sometimes even commiserating) with other writers is a cool thing.
BEING LATE IS OKAY: just show up and get settled, then check-in with me after the session. (I’ll be the person with the Shut Up & Write! sign.) If you were on time, please be willing to make room for the friendly latecomer.
Happy writing and I look forward to seeing you at Natian Brewing!
What Should I Bring?
Whatever you need to be able to write!
Natian’s taproom will play music in the background, but it’s not particularly loud. Bring headphones if you’ll find noise and (potentially) the conversations of customers distracting.
Please come with your laptop charged and the organizer will update this listing with plug-in information soon.

GUIDELINES: Natian Brewing offers a selection of beers on tap, plus cans of hard cider and nonalcoholic drinks, and bags of chips. Please support them by buying something. They allow patrons to bring food in.
