Round Top via West Ridge

Looking to see if anyone would be interested in climbing Roud Top Mtn (10381').

I am open either Saturday or Sunday, if anyone has a preference.
As for a link up location, there is a Chevron Station at the intersection of HWY 16 and Murieta Dr., next to the Rancho Murieta Airport which seems like a centralized location for car pool to the trail head. open for options
I plan on taking HWY 16 to 49 to 88 and then take Woods Lake Rd as far as I can to the trail head. Hwy is clear with minor construction.
Weather conditions look good for this weekend. Lows around 28, Highs around 58, so dress accordingly.
Snowshoes are recommeded since the mountain has gotten about 9" in the last 48 hours.

What I'm bringing:
30L pack, shovel, crampons, mtn ax, snowshoes, down jacket, hedlamp, water, food, compass, map, knife, lighter, 1st aid kid and camera.

I have room for me +3 in my subi so if more than that are interested, I'll need another driver.

Additional details can be discussed below in the comments.

Great hike, turned out to be pretty casual, the top was a little loose and the was some class 3 scrambling to gain the proper summit. The snow was not very deep and snowshoes were not needed or taken. Neither were the crampons or ice ax. The wind was the only detracting factor, but that's what clothes are for, right. All in all everyone had a good time and pictures will be uploaded shortly.

Ok, are you still in? You havent RSVP'd yet. Do you still need equipment?

To answer your earlier question, I havent set a limit on people going, maybe 8 would be as large as this group needs to be. But I can still fit two in my car since I am picking up Kevin along the way. Any more than that and we'd need an extra car. Keith is driving in from Pollack Pines which is up past Placerville, so anyone coming from that direction might be able to get a ride.

Google maps has trip time at 2:16 from my house and I am picking up Kevin at 0630 in Amador City. We should be at the trail head around 0745-0800. I would try not to be any earlier than 0745 because it will probably take us till 0800 or later depending on road/traffic/weather conditions.
