Eating while listening kept my mind awake and alert. Getting my hands on the nuts, hexes, ice screws, tri-cams, etc helped stamp the tools in my memory. The "play boards" were excellent tools for learning indoors. Thanks for a fun and informative class, Darren. I can't wait to play outdoors!

I've done a bit of sport climbing and a little trad, but picked up a lot of useful details and gear tips I haven't found elsewhere. Great talk for a weeknight!

It was a little fast/advanced for me since I'm a pure beginner, but I was thrilled to still be able to pick up some knowledge .
