Dear Friends,

The meet up group is for everybody and helping people to find jobs should me
one of the activities. I agree with Bala that people who post jobs should
contribute to the group, but $300 for each job posting sounds ridicules. 37
signal's job posting is less than that amount. Instead recruiter should
regularly volunteer for the meetings and some sponsorships for the meetings
such as Pizza or something.

Also another two cents for Bala. I would never use derogatory language such
as "you will be kicked out of this meet up group". I would show some respect
to other group members and say an unpleasant thing in a positive way. One
may have started a group but nobody owns the group. If we do not show
respect to each other then another group will spin off within no time.

BTW I am not a recruiter. I have my own software development company and I
do not post jobs ads anywhere including LinkedIn group.

Warm Regards
