Re: [ruby-99] Note to recruiters and Trainers

If your purpose is it to keep up with job postings from recruiters,
there is something called "RSS" and you may want to subscribe to RSS
feeds for job postings where recruiters post their job.

I don't own this group but I am not going to let this meetup mailing
list to be spammed by irrelevant postings. I am not doing this to
satisfy my ego. It is meant to keep those who abuse this meetup
mailing list from spamming.

I am not sorry for the ridicule post I made earlier. Some of the
irrelevant posting really pissed me off. Most developers want to find
direct clients and jobs without going through recruiters. This meetup
is focused on providing an avenue for such activities. Why pay
unnecessary overhead or cut in the hourly rate when you can market
yourself directly to your prospective clients?

If you really want to post jobs then you have to pay for the job
postings to the mailing list. The $300 is not because I want to post
jobs, I want them to go away to job boards like 37 signals and post it
there. It is meant to discourage any job postings.
