Rails 3.0 - A Practical Introduction by Carl Lerche

This presentation will be focused on those who have already worked on a previous version of Rails.

About Carl Lerche

Until Carl Lerche (carllerche) discovered Ruby on Rails in 2005 he thought he would never do web development again. It was Ruby that lured him back into programming and open source development. Currently, he spends much of his time at Engine Yard contributing to Rails, and in his free time, to many side projects. He is a member of Rails core team.

After the presentation we will work in groups of 3-4 people with one of them familiar in Rails. We will help beginners to get the Blog app working on their machines. Newbies please bring your laptop. Anyone who would like to be a team lead please contact me directly.
