Let's chillax to some great music!
Berklee School of Music's Cafe 939 (http://www.cafe939.com/) is a great place to enjoy emerging and established musicians. The space is intimate and laid back and feels like you are hanging with the musician "right into your own living room”.
The line-up for Friday February 15th, 2013 @ 8p:
Will Evans (http://www.indiegogo.com/willevans) has spent the last decade as the primary songwriter, and drummer/ frontman of the roots rock outfit Barefoot Truth. Four full-length albums and several EPs were recorded with Barefoot Truth, including its latest release Carry Us On, which debuted at No. 10 on the iTunes rock chart. Recently Barefoot Truth has decided to take an extended hiatus, which has led Evans to a new chapter in his musical journey. His solo project gives him an empty canvas to explore and create a new sound to share with anyone willing to lend an ear.
The Sweet Remains (http://www.thesweetremains.com/) is headed by three gifted and charismatic singer-songwriters, each of whom contribute to the writing and three-part harmonies that define the band's sound. Driven by strong lyrical and melodic writing, their songs easily appeal to fans of modern folk rockers like Jason Mraz, Ray Lamontagne, and John Mayer. In 2011, the band's song "What I'm Looking For" was featured in various placements including a Subaru car ad campaign and with Eddie Bauer. In September 2011, "Dance With Me" was featured in Putumayo Music compilation Acoustic Cafe to be sold in cafe's and gift shops around the world. Their sophomore studio release and DVD Live at The Canal Room are slated for early 2012 releases.
