Let's explore this lake before they close end of Nov. Maybe catch the last few colored leaves happening? It's been pretty around the triangle this year. Water temps have gone down to the 50s already, so be dressed for cold water paddling: neoprene or dry suits, layer up, wear a warm hat. Air temps might go as high as 72-73 degrees, but I don't have a wind prediction right now. Bring a hot beverage with you!

Put-In: G-M Lake with pay boat ramp/kayak slip (of some kind) Pay to use
3$ senior, 6$ adult, probably office near the put-in. This is a 40 min. drive for me from Durham. Use the address I provide.
Bring: cold paddle gear, PFD, whistle, lunch, hat, sunscreen, $ for ramp fee.
I'll check out a local brewery we could hit up on the way home if ya'll are interested. Those joining us: be responsible for yourself, wear appropriate clothing, we're a club to get paddle friends together and take no responsibility for your safety, more fun, less drama. If you don't know me, keep my ph # handy to communicate-call. Calling is best, not texting. Thanks and looking forward to seeing ya'll!
