We had a hardy group of hikers last month for Southern Ridges trail. So, let's try something a bit more challenging.
This hike takes about three hours and has some uphill sections. Details are at http://www.nparks.gov.sg/cms/index.php?option=com_visitorsguide&task=attractions&id=64&Itemid=73
We begin and end at the same place: Venus Drive Carpark.
A few bus stops away from the Carpark is Brownice cafe http://www.brownice.com/ which has fantastic ice cream, as well as waffles, hummus sandwiches, pizza and cheesecake: all vegan.
What to bring:
1. good walking footwear
2. clothes for rain, including plastic bags for your electronic items and maybe a change of clothing
3. sun protection, such as a hat and sunscreen
4. insect protection
5. water and maybe a snack - we will pass a ranger station with water and toilets.
We are likely to see monkeys. We should not feed them.
