Details

A fun, relaxed & welcoming space for chaps/lads/blokes/geezers to find their voice and feel the power of the male voice multiplied by singing a variety of songs - some you will recognise, some you (probably) won't.

This project is part of Chaps Choirs 5th Birthday celebration, which culminates in a gig - a celebration of singing men - on the 19th May at the Union Chapel. As a member of The Scratch Chaps you will learn songs by ear - by attending Wednesdays workshops leading up to the gig - and prepare to perform with both Chaps Choir & Bellow Fellows on the evening of the 19th May.

// no group singing or performing experience required
// teaching by ear - no need to read music
// teaching will be inclusive and accessible so no-one gets left behind
// we'll be singing a range of songs similar to Chaps Choir repertoire (some you might recognise, some you might not)

The Scratch Chaps project sessions will take place in the Lower Hall at The Union Chapel.
