Having done a hike with "Cody" on this same trail going south, this time I will head north on the CDT. Should have some decent views of the Rio Puerco valley from atop of some mesa's. Am hoping to go about 7-10 miles round trip on a fairly level portion of the trail. Not much of an elevation gain maybe[masked] total. Driving distance one way is about 75 miles, all pavement except for the last 100 yards or so. NO DOGS or WHINERS. Friends, lovers, past lovers, potenial lovers, kids, grandkids, congressmen, and guests are welcome! I would rate this hike as Moderate, due to the distance.
