Wintertime Walks/Bike Rides along the Bosque.

Our Last Walk or Bike Along the North Bosque: Meet at 12:45 PM at the Alameda Open Space parking lot, at the east end of the Alameda Bridge on the south side. To start off our winter walks, we’ll walk north along the river toward Corrales. There is a trail that goes thought the woods all the way to the Corrales Drainage Canal, about 3.5 miles. If you would like to ride a MT bike on the same path, feel free to bring your bike. Walk at your own pace and enjoy the friendship of others. Everyone will meet back at the parking lot around 4 PM to go for coffee, hot chocolate or milk shake at the Flying Star just north of Alameda on the Corrales Road. Dress in layers depending on the weather. Bring energy snacks and plenty of water. Bike riders must have a helmet. Walking distance: 5 - 7 miles, bike riders go as far as you wish.

Leader: Tom Mizner (Home #[masked] or cell #[masked])
