Saint Croix Vineyards 14th Annual Grape Stomp

It’s free and fun for the whole family! Take a turn stomping grapes the old-fashioned way or dare a fellow Sitzmarker to give it a try. Prizes will be awarded to those with the best grape-stomping style (as determined by audience applause). Grape stomping competitions for both kids and adults will be held at approximately 3:00 and 5:00.
A drawing will be held to determine who will compete in the competitions, so if you’re interested enter your name in the drawing when you arrive. Anyone can try stomping the grapes between the competitions at no charge.
Vineyard/winery tours will take place at approximately 2:00 and 4:00 (no pre-registration required). Lively classic rock, soul, and blues music from 12:00 to 5:00 and wine sampling offered in the tasting room from 10:00-6:00 (tasting charge of $5 per person).
We’ll meet at 2 pm in the tasting room; look for a helium balloon. Saint Croix Vineyards is located at 6428 Manning Avenue, Stillwater.

I was there yesterday, Saturday. I brought a friend and a great picnic and a couple bottles of wine from home. Unlike last year they have virtually no vendors or other booths like last year. (Last year there were a few dozen booths, this year one or two)

The music by Mo Midnight band was GREAT!! (I'd never heard that band but I will definitely go see them more often)
